Dungeon Quest Reborn Progression

Dungeon Quest Reborn Progression
Direct answerProgression in Reborn means clearing instanced dungeons, checking your drops against your Physical or Spell build, and only then moving to a harder dungeon or difficulty. Exact level gates are not published, so this page gives the reported ladder and a move-on decision rule that returns HOLD whenever a gate is unverified.

The progression loop

The official description defines the loop: enter instanced dungeons alone or with other players, defeat enemies and bosses, collect weapons, armor and abilities, and strengthen a Physical (Warrior-style) or Spell (Mage-style) build for harder content. Progression therefore is not 'more levels' — it is a ladder of dungeons plus the gear decisions between them.

  • Clear your current dungeon on a difficulty you can finish consistently.
  • Run the Upgrade Finder on the drops you kept.
  • When your build stops improving and clears stay consistent, move to the next dungeon/difficulty.
  • Re-check the current update (see Northern Lands) — new content changes what is next.

Reported dungeon ladder (names only — sources conflict on order/count)

Reported by dqrwiki.com (13+ names, Reborn-only)Reported by dungeonquest.wiki (8 names, Early Access)
Desert Temple / Winter Outpost / Pirate Island— (only category counts reported; see Dungeons hub)
King's Castle / Underworld / Samurai Palace— (early snapshot: 8 dungeons total)
The Canals / Ghastly Harbor / Steampunk Sewers
Orbital Outpost / Volcanic Chambers / Aquatic Temple
Enchanted Forest / Northern Lands

Because the two published lists conflict, the ladder above is a name inventory, not a verified order. The Dungeons hub keeps both sources side by side until live verification resolves them.

Move-on decision rule

Do not move up just because a site says so. Move on when all four are true:

  1. You clear your current dungeon/difficulty consistently without failing your goal (clear speed or boss survival).
  2. Your last N drops produced no EQUIP verdicts from the Upgrade Finder — your build has stopped improving here.
  3. Your build path (Physical or Spell) is solid and you know what it needs next.
  4. The next dungeon's gate is verified (if the gate is unverified → HOLD: stay and farm).

Difficulty ladder

Community wikis reference difficulty tiers up to Nightmare. The exact order, unlock gates and reward scaling are not published — treat any difficulty table from third parties as Community Reported and re-verify in game.

HOLD state: when a level gate or reward is not verified, the honest answer is to stay on your current tier and farm — not to follow an unverified shortcut.

Frequently Asked Questions

There is no verified 'fast' route with numbers. The safe route: clear consistently, upgrade the best matching drops, move up one step at a time, and re-check the current update. Avoid sites promising 'max level fast' with original-game data.
No. The official game supports both axes; progression advice only makes sense relative to your chosen path. See Builds.
Unverified. Some sites state level caps from the original game — that is Legacy Only data and is not used here.
Depends on your place in the ladder and what your build needs. See Northern Lands and Enchanted Forest for what is currently reported about each.
