Upgrade Finder

Direct answerTell the finder your build path, what you are farming, what just dropped and whether you actually saw its stats. It returns one of four answers — KEEP / EQUIP / SELL / HOLD — with the reason, your next farm target and your next progression step. Whenever a required fact is conflicting or unverified, the answer is HOLD. No invented numbers, no false drop rates.
Run the finder
Answer honestly; the finder treats 'I did not actually see the stats' as a HOLD, because guessing would be lying to you.
How the finder works
You provide six facts: what dropped, your build path, the state of the slot, whether the drop is clearly better/similar/worse, whether it matches your path, and whether you personally saw the item card. The finder applies a fixed rule order that mirrors the gameplay loop and the site's evidence gate.
- Build path comes from the official Physical (Warrior-style) / Spell (Mage-style) wording — it is a damage axis, not a locked class.
- Armor is treated as path-neutral because cross-path armor behavior is not verified.
- If evidence about the item is missing, or the rarity comparison is unknown, the rule returns HOLD before any other branch.
Decision rules at a glance
| Situation | Verdict | Why (short) |
| Better + matches + weak slot | EQUIP | Direct upgrade; compare exact numbers on the card |
| Similar + weak slot | EQUIP (mechanic) | Fill the slot, but verify stats before spending gold |
| Worse than current | KEEP current | No upgrade; sell or store the drop |
| Other path (weapon/ability) | SELL / hold | Wrong damage axis for this build |
| Other path but clearly better | HOLD | Only worth it if you will build that path — your call, not ours |
| Not sure / didn't see stats | HOLD | Unverified dependency — never guess |
| Armor + clearly better + weak slot | EQUIP (mechanic) | Path-neutral; verify numbers on card |
Read this before trusting any table
The Reborn item economy changes fast and published tables conflict. The finder only uses mechanics that the official description supports plus facts you supply. Any number it does not need, it never invents.
Rule of thumb from the official description: familiar names may return from the original Dungeon Quest, but Reborn is its own experience. If a 'fact' only exists in original-game tables, it is Legacy Only and never used here.
Frequently Asked Questions
No, and nobody can right now: exact stats are not published. The finder decides on mechanics and your facts; when numbers are needed it returns HOLD and points you to compare item cards in game.
Because the evidence gate is the product: a HOLD with a reason is more useful than a confident guess from Legacy data.
Yes — the decision table above is static HTML; the interactive form is a convenience filter over the same rules.
See the Northern Lands page: data that depends on the current update is flagged, and volatile facts carry their Last Verified date.
